Symposium International of contemporary art of Baie-Saint-Paul
In August 2022, I created The Ancestor in the studio, at the Musé des Arts Contemporain de Baie-Saint-Paul. I was one of the 14 artists selected to participate in the 40th edition of the Symposium. The Ancestor is a continuity of my installation project The Keepers. I created a large tree like form out of recycled cardboard and accompanied by a ceiling video projection of the forest canopy.
