NATURE ART DAY CAMP
Monday August 27 to Thursday 30, for 12 to 17 year old
You have teens who want to spend time in nature while being creative! This camp is for them!
I am so thrilled to offer my teenager NATURE ART SUMMER DAY CAMP for the 3rd year.Just west of Calgary in Elbow Valley
Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, August 27th, 29 and 30th, from 9:45am till 3:15 and Tuesday August 28th from 8:15am till 4:30pm (Rocky Mountain outing).
Participants will connect with nature and use it as inspiration to create a variety of artworks. Under the guidance of artist Patricia Lortie, they will spend most of the day outside exploring walking trails in Elbow Valley; sketching, painting, collecting natural materials and taking photos that will be used in their creations. The artist studio is used as a base to plan and finish the exciting artwork projects planed.
This year, participants will also be treated to a full day of plein air sketching and painting on the edge Lower Kananaskis lake in the rocky mountains. Lortie is an experienced Rocky Mountain hiker and knows the area well. She has selected this location for it’s dramatic views and easy access.
To sign up and for more information, contact Patricia by phone: 403-620-9941 or by email: firstname.lastname@example.org
