Patricia supports students in creating the artwork they choose. The small class sizes (ten students) permit her to accommodate every skill level. Students learn how to paint with acrylic or oil. They develop confidence and skills in a supportive and calm environment. Patricia’s warm and positive approach helps the students feel they can progress and overcome the obstacles in their way. They can develop their own personal style knowing they have the support they need to be successful.

Testimony

“Patsy is a very kind and encouraging instructor. When you have questions she is very knowledgeable about the skills of painting while not being too technical. She is always super encouraging.”  Jennifer

“I have taken painting classes with Patricia and have thoroughly loved the experience. Patricia helps each artist at whatever level they are at, to create whatever it is they want to create. I am thrilled with the paintings that I created in Patricia’s class and enjoyed the peaceful, supportive community she creates for her students. I would recommend her classes to anyone. No matter what level you are at, Patricia will find a way to help you create something beautiful that you are proud of. Patricia has a gift in bringing out the best in her students and herself.”  Chantal

“I have been a student of Patricia Lortie since 2012 as a member of Springbank Ladies Timeout.  I love the patience Patricia has with her students.  She has shown me how to mix my colours, and how to look for shadings and distinction in my paintings.”  Wendy
